Ok I recently finished out attention line in the bruiser tree and got shiftiness and final taunt/detaunt ability.

Next I want to either get agi/altruism, knockouts/drag, or go down the wis line to help get aggro on ecounters and multimobs.

My first question to those that have the wis line, does it help us get and retain aggro on encounters and multiple mobs when grouping with other players. Do all the aoe attacks this line gives help get mobs attention. It seems like it would, but you can never tell.

And if the wis line does help get aggro in multi mob encounters, which would you get first? The wis line, knockouts/drag, or the agi/altruism line.

Keep in my this is my group spec, I have a seperate soloing spec in the AA mirror.

It is very nice to be able to make the mob, as a tank or off tank, get to where you need them to be. KO just because it's KO.

If I can get in a group that can buff my bruisers haste to more than +100 points of haste is when I see it proc more often but it isn't a guarrantee fix for ae aggro retention. Crane flock is the best ability in the line and can do some serious ae damage and again is even better with all the haste you can get and that alone makes the line worth having.

And if the wis line does help get aggro in multi mob encounters, which would you get first? The wis line, knockouts/drag, or the agi/altruism line.

This depends on if I was main tanking or offtanking. If I was tanking I use wisdom line for the crane flock. Knockout/drag is a wonderful tool that no other toon in eq2 has at this moment and should be next in line for aa's. Alturism is a nice ability to have in any situation either tanking or not. Just having alturism has made me many friends here lately! Nothing better than getting a tell that my alturism just saved the main healer from death. Alturism will also increase hate toward you if it has successfully worked and if you are the tank that really helps.

Keep in my this is my group spec, I have a seperate soloing spec in the AA mirror.

I hope that helps some. Crane twirl is ok, but remember the more haste you can get the better it will work since your attack swings will come quicker than you would solo or unbuffed. Crane flock is awesome. Monks with this ability are down right wicked for 16 seconds and is a sight to behold!
