On the 14th i was online playing my little hobbit heart out. I zoned and then i had no game up on my screen.....So of course i tried again and again. i started looking for errors in computer admin and saw nothing there. I have found out that AT&t is having some routing issues and this is what the issues are causing.Please let me know if anyone else is having these kind of issues so i can try to move this along and get it fixed. They are telling me it could take weeks if not longer to fix and ive left my hobbit just sitting all alone.

Yes, my roommate and I are also having this same issue. We got the same story about ATT and that it could take weeks to get this fixed. We also have Comporium. Same thing happened to me on 5-14, I was playing, then all of a sudden I got booted out and haven't been able to get back in since.

From what I understand, Comporium.net is having some major routing issues at the moment. One of our techs has already contacted them about the situation and they are at least aware of it. Sadly, the tech who has been in contact with them is out sick today so I wasn't able to ask him for an update on the situation.

Yah he is out sick today. and comporium of course is trying their best to work on it......yah right. i worked there and i know how that place works. but they will be trying to fix it. funny thing is i just talked to them again today and they still swear im the only one with this issue.Ive asked one guy up there at SOE and let me ask here..if im having this issue with EQ2 will i have the same issue with Vanguard?

ok my roommate can now log on to his, I still can not log onto mine. I tried my account on his computer and it would not let me on, doing the same thing it did on my computer. He tried his account again and it worked. to me that is strange, the only thing he has done that I have not done is he installed star wars galaxies and pirates of the carribean online.

Well i have SWG, PS, EQ1, EQ2 and now have Vanguard installing and it still didnt work earlier...i will try my friends acct since ive had mine frozen till this is fixed

I live in the uk and I'm having trouble with my connection to eq2 servers it seem my route goes through AT&T and that is where I'm losing my connection! which is resulting in huge packet losses and lag spikes! so far it's been about five weeks and still no improvement at the moment now I've more or less had to quit eq2 as it's unplayable to me!

I am with Comporium and having this same issue. I get to the character select screen for VG, SWG, and EQ2 but when I am logging into the world I crash to desktop. I can log in and play Planetside with no trouble and one time I did get logged into EQ2. One of the TSR had a ticket opened with Comporium... can we get an update please?

You're not the only ones, I spoke with Comporium last week about this, The guy I spoke with told me yes they have had many peope calling specifically about EQ2. I also Have planetside, same problem, get to the same point and poof...game drops, no errors etc., same as EQ2. I was thinking about trying EQ or SWG but From what I'm hearing all of Sonys games are not working with comporium. I'm thinking of freezing my account as well. No point in payin to play when ya can't play!Any further updates?

Word from Comporium is that AT&T is working on this issue and should be resolved within 2 weeks.

ok just reactived account 7/4/08 though compurim in Rock Hill SC I can't get in game after toon select right to desktop no errors.

I don't have comporium, I have Comcast. But I live in VA so I figured I'd chime in. I have the same problem with it not letting me all the way back in. It loads the game with the character, but I get booted soon after. Also of note: WoW and LotRO work JUST FINE for me. I repeat, I HAVE NEVER HAD AN ISSUE WITH THOSE TWO MMO'S. I am actually playing LotRO while I try out EQ2 again. Not sure if that will help, but it makes me feel better posting <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Although I'm not with Comporium, I'm having similar issues. Since about the 1st, I've been getting huge 1200-4000 ping lag spikes which last for 5+ minutes. It seems to only affect EQ2. I don't really understand the whole.. AT&T routing thing so I'm not sure if thats the problem. I'm with Bell Sympatico in the London, Ontario area.

Things have improved for me, I can get into the game, but still drop at random times, not sure yet if there is some sort of timer that seems to kick me out. I've been in long enough to kill a few things, I've been able to zone etc, but still constantly dropping. Has it cleared for anyone else using comporium? Everyone else able to play or still can't get in. EQ live plays fine, still can't play planetside though, haven't tried SWG again yet though.

same goes for me here! I'm on virgin media in the uk and my pathping shows that my route goes through AT&T and that is where I'm getting a blockage, in the last week the roue has changed slightly and I'm now able to play again BUT! I still get a few lag spikes from 400 upto 1,500 mainly when zoning and have been booted to char select once! other than that so far things have been back to normal.
