showhood problem since GU45

<p>hi )</p><p>got a problem with my ranger/assasin cape-looking helmets since GU45. when i turn on showhood and i begin to run around, on every footstep the half of my head sticks throu the top of the hood ... it's really stupid looking and was never there before GU45. i havent changed my graphic cards driver or anything else of my system so i think it has something to do with the latest patch ... maybe <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>please help, cause i love the ranger/assa hoods and dont wanna run around without it <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img src=" width="15" height="15" /></p><p>greetz, </p><p>Zed</p>

<p>I noticed this as well with my Human Ranger and his Hoo'Loh's Hunting Cowl - the back of a BALD head sticks out as he moves.  </p><p>It looks like the head is "bobbing" while moving more (or at least differently) than before the update.  Most helms and hats move with the head, but hoods seem to be fixed on the shoulders, so the hairless head just peeks right out there for a split second with every step.  Really quite annoying.</p><p>I love the hood look, but this is forcing me to use another type of helm until the problem is corrected.  It's just too distractinng.</p><p>Arador StormbowRanger of Permafrost</p>

I'm going to test this as soon as I get a chance and submit a bug report with the results.  I would advise anyone experiencing the issue to submit their own bug reports as well using the /bug command.  Thanks

<p>Glad to hear this is being looked at... having the same problem and i've turned off my hood because of it.</p><p> Ranger without a hood, i know its cosmetic but it just looks wierd...</p>

I have not seen this issue on test or live servers this weekend.  Can you open a support ticket <a href="https://auth.station.sony.com/login?service=https%3A%2F%2Fsecure.station.sony.co m%2Femailupdate%2Fj_acegi_cas_security_check&theme=station&locale=en_US" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">HERE</a>, and PM the reference number please.You may also want to run a full file scan and verify you have the newest drivers for your video card.

<p>i made some tests by myself and regonized that the problem is only appearing when i'm in my normal half-elf charater form ... when im using a illusion, for examble dwarf or halfling, then the problem isnt existing. for me, being a 3D operator by myself, it looks like there is a bones/rigging problem with these sort of hoods only with the half-elf character models. </p><p>my dirsplay drivers are the latest available at Nvidia's site ... and, whats a reference number? you mean the driver version? it's 175.16. oh, and i never wrote a PM before, and dont know how to do that <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
