Hey all,I'm in the process of leveling a brigand as an alt. I was increasing AGI in the achivements of Rogue for I like the last ability gained that gives 25% bonus to casting and cooldown. But my co-worker stresses the fact that it would be better if I went for damage. And now I just learned that intel is good for poisons as well...Any tips?

I went down the Agi line first. I can rattle off all my CA's in very short order. It's kinda crazy. Then I went Str.

But since I solo mainly, I pulled out of Str and went Agi/Sta.

I am only L53 btw. Not an expert.

Only recovery (as if you get interupted). All it allows you to do is pump out abilities faster. Which when solo/duo is great as you only have a limited amount of time at the back of a mob before it turns to you. The way I have it set now, I can WtP, 1 back attack, stun, and pump out 2-3 more back attacks depending on how in game lag hits/mob con level. And yes INT gives a boost to spell damage, which poisons work as when they process, as do some other procs from items.I went AGI to the end, then STR to the end. I'm now working on the left side of the brigand AA tree. I'm only lvl 46 but so far it's working great for solo, pug, and duo with a necro.
Str to the end does nothing for you unless your raiding. save the 2 points and put them somewhere else.

for leveling an alt I would suggest to go agi for walk the plank, str for crits and sta for maxing hp. rest is up to you. once you want to raid go str line to the end and go for sailwind in the agi tree

Even though it's not a ton of damage, it still adds up. But yes the 50% reuse doesn't help much in PvE before raiding.I'm capped at 49/50 on the Rogue AA tree right now anyways at lvl 47. When does it open up to 75 AA points per tree? lvl 60?

Up till 69th, you have 50 AA max in each category. At 70th, it increases to a net of 70 AA max in each category.

As to the comments about the Blackguard's Strike, another "experienced" player also mocked me for taking it as a "bad choice" in my 30's. Yet I almost always solo, which means that I have to build my character differently group a group character. I can't count the number of times that strike has saved my rear when I'm soloing against some various ^^^ named mob.

Being able to use one more decent strike comes in helpful from time to time. Also this does affect many of the more interesting instance encounters. There is a mob in Court of Innovation that has a long duration AE stun that generally gives you 5-6 seconds to act before he stuns again. Using the strength line end ability buys your entire party 30 seconds to get some damage and healing in before they get shut down again.
