As it was brought to our attention in another thread today (not including Venekor and Vox servers) the Shadowknight Mythical has not been disco'd on 3 US/UK servers.

Every other Fighter Mythical has been disco'd on US/UK servers. The reason? Shadowknights are not wanted on raids! We bring nothing unique to the table this expansion. Some would argue that it has been several expansions since we were on par with other Fighter classes. And please don't discard this post as just another lunatic SK ranting and raving. I have played EQ since launch back in '99. And of course my class of choice has always been Shadowknight. Therefore, my passion is for this class above all else. However, I also understand that subscription dollars and classes represented online today equate to where the Devs spend their time and effort.

Please understand that Shadowknights today are asked to Betray before joining a hardcore/raiding guild. That isn't right. A lot of SKs have done just that due to the 'Easy Mode' of playing a Paladin (Amends/Holy Ground.) Crusaders in general still suffer from the same flaw though. And that is diluted DPS due to spliting bonuses between CAs and Spell Dmg. We are a mixed bag of stats; STR,INT/WIS, STA, AGI whereas Warriors are more straight fwd. But that is the nature of a Hybrid. However, SOE could not have imagined that a hybrid class would be unwanted and ignored by the player base for the most part this late into the game's life cycle.

We are practically 5 years in and our class is not being represented due to the flaws and weaknesses of our abilities. Please take the time to read pther threads in this class forum. There are some well thought out posts about our issues (amid some harsh ones.) We are a desperate group right now. Begging for change is the last effort we have of enjoying this game down the road. Coercer changes gave us hope. Please don't dash that hope by saying we are fine as a solo class, a non-raiding class, or an alt class. There are those of us remaining that still play daily, still raid with 23 other friends and really want to enjoy our played time.

This is the absolute bottom in Shadowknight history. SOE has it in their hands to raise us up and do the right thing. Thank you.

Fear the mighty SK, paper tiger, that can't hold aggro, avoid damage, mitigate damage, or DPS as well as the other Plate tank classes.

Strike fear into the hearts of the ROK raid mobs with our lack of utility and plummeting position on the DPS parser!

Race to your Mythicals SK's, on the back of the other Plate Tank classes MT's and OT's that tank, and DPS, the pants off of you, hands down!

This is really depressing.

I realize I run the risk of being told 'you just don't know how to play your class'. But my SK was rolled the first day I started playing, and has been my identity since that day. I have a raiding defiler, and a raiding dirge.. created and levelled mostly to be able to see some content I'd never see with my SK.. but the first will always be my favorite.

But I can't take what RoK has exposed in this class. I could hold my own pre-expansion, with hard work and preparation. But it's just not fair to the rest of the group to include him as a [air quote] tank [end air quote].

I'm considering betraying, and leaving him in Haven as 'the Exiled' unless and until SOE fixes the situation. Seems appropriate.

though the zerk class does need some patches to make us feel useful again the SK class does need more attention and i hope you guys do get it.

I'd say we should go on strike and not play our toons for a week...but then who would notice our class was missing?

I can't believe SKs are still problematic after all this time. I picked this game up back in the winter and they still haven't made the SK a usefull class in the end game?

Time to betray indeed.

The Devs can change Master P in SOH for the umpteenth time (what's up with that? talk about too much time on your hands), but they can't take a little time to give us SK's a badly needed DPS boost?

Or mabey a little avoidance boost?

Or, I know, how about a little mitigation boost?

Or perhaps a melee/spell dmg stack with our class armour bonuses?

Or perhaps a little utility that is actually useful in end game?

Or how about ANYTHING that might make us a bit more balanced with the other plate tank classes, or a bit useful in the end game?

It's been SO bloody obvious this class is hurting since ROK came out, can't you take a few minutes of your busy day to show your customer base that you actually give a crap about one of the classes in the game that has been so badly neglected?

Yes, I am a frustrated customer. And I have lots of company here. Sorry if I sound like a frustrated customer.
