View Full Version : logging in isues after LU45 !!

I'm having a problem logging in I get to chose a toon and try to log in but get booted every time. Also I'm getting stuck at recieving zone info just sits there for ever.

Same here, not able to log in. I can't even read the message in the window it poofs so fast.

HEy guys!Can I get any more info on your issues.XP/ VISTA?DXDIAG and an MSINFO woul help as well.Also you should remember that after a patch the executable has changed for Everquest 2 and will need to be re-added to any firewall allowed list.  You may also have to power cycle your modem and/or router.

I am having log in and zoning issues on three computers.Others still in game were stating the same problems.  I just zoned on one computer and it kicked him out of the game.  On another, I had to attempt to log in about 20 times before it let me in.  I have not even gotten in on the 3rd one yet.  These are three different accounts.I was watching the total player amount as well.  For 30 mins it went from 80 slowly down to 59.  Suddenly it jumped to over 100.  So that is evidence there is something wrong.

I did what you suggested with the Firewall. I am able to get in game now, but what is odd...I have never had to do that before.

Well, I didn't do anything and I am able to get in game now.  You probably just reset it at the right time to make it appear that way.

Is anyone still experiencing login trouble that started right after the patch?  Usually that type of problem can be fixed by adjusting the firewall.  Let us know if the problem persists, though.

Yes my wife and I can't log into out toons.  She uses vista.. I use XP.  We have the same problem...  we can get to character select screen with no problems but when we try to play any toon it says "eq2 has experienced and error".  We can't get past that.
