The options to choose from:

Invigorating Opus: Increases atk speed of groupSandra's Befuddling Incursion: c/a - mental dmg + power dmgQuiron's Ecstatic Celebration: in-combat hp regenBria's Exalting Ballad: in-combat pwr regen

Just a little background...the troub is an alt. I play on a pvp server. My first instinct is to go for Sandra's Befuddling Incursion, since I am often solo or duo pvping. But Invigorating Opus and Quiron's strike me as buffs that could prove very helpful and necessary. I've pretty much ruled out Bria's, since I do mostly solo or duo pvp.

Any advice is appreciated.

I believe I chose Invigorating Opus because it gave me the "most bang dor my buck". I'm not entirley sure if it's still the case, but when I hit 44 that spell at M2 was better than the AD 3 of it's upgrade.

One a regualr basis, is it a tight close fight where it's down to each of you having a sliver of health left, or do one of you have plenty in the end and win lose or draw , the loser got beat soundly where HP regen wouldn't of really mattered? Unless the HP Regen is like Wolverines....hehe.

So, if it's a usually close fight where each HP matters, then by all means, go fer the regen, but if it's not the case, rule that out. And your left with 2 choices.

Then you ask your self, will the incresed chances of crits and double attacks, based on increased attack speed, help you kill better then the CA?

Therein lies what only you could know. The attack speed is always nice because it's passive and will always benefit you, but it may not offer the biggest bang fer your buck, but it may. Figure that out grasshopper and you will live in tranquility (because you killed all you enemys)

the HP regen buff for all teirs IMO is worthless. It is such a minimal amount regenned when you actually add it up, that almost ANY other buff would yield a better return in its place.

From what i see left Atk speed woudl be handy dandy, and i agree with one of the previous posters, i recall it being better than the next teir ad3 version, however on a PVP server that power drain "might" be useful, however i do not have enough pvp experience (on my inquisitor) to determine how effective that actually is.

I was lucky to find a Master 1 of my latest Attack Speed right before I hit 44, so the different wasn't even +1.2....

The Power Regen was only an increase of 23 to 31 / tick...

And the Health Regen was an increase from 42 to 89 / tick...

So I went Health Regen, even though "Worthless" and I suck big time for picking it, I like it.

Thanks for the help, I went with Sandra's Befuddling Incursion (the C/A). Mainly because I went to the broker and found everything else as an A3 (even one as an inexpensive M1) EXCEPT for Sandra's (where the best choice was A1). TBH, I was leaning more toward the c/a anyway, simple because when I do pvp, I mostly solo or duo with an assasin friend (and occiasionally with my son who plays a defiler).

I felt I wasn't doing enough dmg, so that is really what swayed my decision to go with the c/a.

Hey,As a Trouby created specifically for pvp'ing I thought I'd share my view on this one. The way I see it the marginal DPS gained from either the CA or Attack speed buff is not really worth it. Now this is based on my play style obviously, but also my observations as a combat effective bard (read: I have quite my fair share of pvp success solo). We are never going to tear down another class like a Brig, Assasinor Swashy would - thats a given, so the likely hood is that our fights are going to last long enough for regen to play some sort of a part, and in some cases I would suggest, be the deciding factor. I've had fights with healers, and to a lesser extent tanks like SK's that last for minutes (for those of us who now eq2 pvp that is looong!). Kiting, snaring, debuffing, controlling, using my environment - the works. If my health is regen'ing at say 89 per tick over that period that equates into a rather large heal over time. Sometimes in close fights I feel like I am in red for longer than I otherwise should be, that is I am thinking - "I am still alive??" The reality is I only need 1 extra hp for my stifle to re-cycle, which gives me another 9secs of relatively safe dps'ing... you see my point?Anyhow thats a kinda long winded way of saying I would choose the Hp regen buff for the master 2 at 44. It has saved my life on numerous times soloing and when multiply is effectiveness in a group environment, its a beauty! <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Regards,Philamonic of Venekoredited for dyslexic reasons
