I've just downloaded Everquest II, the whole package with all the expansions. I opened the launcher and downloaded all the patches and such... and now, every time I open it, it "Scans" all the files. This takes almost half an hour. Then, when the "Updating..." turns into "Play!", I click it, and the new full-screen window opens. I get a full black screen, and an EQII cursor, but then it pops open an error window that says... ( check the attatched screenshot ). Then I get a window that says that I've encountered an error and the program needs to close. I restarted my computer, cleared some space... tried again... once again, had to scan files for half an hour, and got the same result. Please help. If I can't get this to work, I want my $43.27 back.

http://i30.tinypic.com/ad2620.jpg

Can't really tell from the picture, but it appears to be XP.

As far as a refund, the OP will have to discuss this with the brick and mortar store he purchased it at or contact SOE's support via phone or live chat during their normal business hours of 10 AM to 7 PM Pacifc Mon-Fri

What you are geting sounds like you have a video card that is not support, or is an onboard video device. Can you post your DXDIAG?
