I wanted to post my PVP and PVE AA spec's for 2 reasons. 1st to show fellow assassins what I do to top parses. 2nd. To improve from suggestions from PVE assassins(I just started to raid and I BET my PVE AA's could use some improvement)

1st. My PVP Pred Spec...

http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/...ad/PVP_Pred.jpg

The STR line is an obvious choice. I chose the AGI line bc of the arrow knockback(good for camping soko posts), and the additional crit gained from bow attacks(running targets). I know a lot of assassins LOOOVE the STA line for the extra HP's but I feel like I get more kills being able to knockback targets from posts and burn them quick. I'm not sure 100% sure if AGI line is the right choice over STA. INT line pwns. I find its not resisted as much as it was in T7 and in a long fight it can add an extra 1k dmg in pvp.

2nd. My PVE Pred Spec...(I'd appreciate any advice from PVE raiding assassins, I've done very well in raid parses with this spec)

http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/...ad/PVE_Pred.jpg

Again teh STR is obvious. I get the additional atk speed in AGI line bc it allows you to get off all the backstabs quicker to add a hellof a lot of dmg to your FFU. I hit 20k FFU's with this vs 12-13k's without this AA. Then I go down the INT for the pwnage extra poison dmg.

3rd. My Assassin AA's are the same PVP and PVE. Here is my spec.

http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/...Assassin_AA.jpg

A lot of these are obvious choices. I dont max out my Vellium strike, juggular, or crippling bc I have been told they cap out in PVP with that amount of spent AA's. Frontload, repeated stabbing, and bleeding(eventually) are my final choices in the lines. My goal in this tree is to max dps wile not over spending AA's that do not benefit PVP.

I am open to suggestion. Thank anyone for their help and I hope I helped a few assassins along the way.

Well I'm a PvP assn and I have been tinkering with my AA abilities....For the Assn tree (pvp) I'm in POISONS, PHYSICALLITY, and TRICKS...All the way down each of those trees; Only difference in PvE is that I gave up TRICKS for BLEED.

Now, the Predator tree is one I have been messing around with. Originally I was STR, STA and INT. All the way down STR and STA with the 8 points in Spell crit in INT. I then gave up the INT line to go WIS to put the 8 points in Obscurfiction (sp). But I soon learned there is no point in doing that until Concealment counts twds the 8% of dmg cos it doesn't apply and becomes a waste. So, I left WIS line for AGI. I was tired of my targets getting away, so I put 8 points in the run speed and 5 into the Range Crit. Now, my run speed is 60% (70% with jboots). I have found this line and set up to be fairly useful. I love the STA line for PvP due to the extra HP and the Impentrable ability. I have survived many a fight (and gank squad as I'm plowing thru them to get to the post) with those extra HP. I know some ppl don't agree with going all the way down Blademaster, but I much rather wait 10 min for Execute than 15.

For a raid set up, I'm all the way down STR and INT and down WIS with the 8 points in Obscurfication.

Notice when you dump the AA points you have green high lights for info, but with the tricks line there is nothing.

PVE here. Honestly, everyone plays an assassin differently, it's what makes us so much fun!

My aa's are similar to yours with a couple exceptions. I went WIS rather than AGI on the prowler tree. There has been alot of debate over this move by many assassins. I can tell you, if you simply adjust your play style to adapt to the new abilities, the dmg is most impressive. Not to mention Smokebomb has saved many a tank, and my own hide several times.

Assassin tree. I removed frontload recently to test out the body tree. Will let ya know how that goes.

for PvE assassin tree spec: I find this to be better than what O.P. had said:I didn't put any points into hemo, because it's not worth it to use hemos, they overwrite themselves too often, and you lose dps to caustics. No raiding assassin would or should use hemo poisons. Yes, they do work out to be bigger damage, IF they go through their entire dot period, but in raids, and with frontload/classes affecting proc percentages, a hemo debuff will almost never make it to even halfway through its timer.Filled out five in each snare, ignorant (I need all the help from ignorant bliss I can), attribute poison (bigger debuff, dump stat), five into apply toxin (dump stat) to get frontload.Filled out the twenty along the right wall of tricks to get to repeated stabbing, really helps the debuffs you have, and decreases the timer on sinister strike, which does help. The points towards excessive bleeding could prolly have been spent better, but velium strike and jugular aren't worth it at all for PvE purposes.Plus, the exacting bonus is really really worthwhile, even moreso than murderous design buff.
