I can't really see those pictures, you're only doing 2k dps? Hard to judge. Our dps shouldn't go down much from VM change.

Had to remove my choker for obvious reasons.

On test It sits nicely at roughly 2.4k, the ease of not having to toggle mana taps frees up the use of wasting them to sacarfice DPS, so over the 20 Wall fights, it added up, outcome in total HP dealt is almost identical with in 1-2%, can see the difference in amount of times more I cast Beam on test due to not having to Extract or Gazes.

Also keep in mind that our pet doesn't exactally fire off every Prismatic charge ethier........on raids my pie chart would respectively show that Prismatic and Beam being 28 - 30% each of my total damage output, on there is 26 - 28% for beam but only 14 - 16% for Prismatic.

Also note that because I am not using Extract and Gazes in the mix now, I have thrown in 2 Drain Conc's per wall fight where I would usually use Gazes and Extract.

All in all, I could of got maybe 2.1-2.2k on Live, but realistically, this only shows our solo dps and doesn't use one of our main DPS skills to its fullest potential nor does it take in all variables ethier. Obviously like many will try and percieve, Illies simply do not do 4k dps solo........

If anyone can give me some fresh recaps on how to upload full size screen shots would be most appreciated.

Thats very similar to what I see. From memory something like 2.4k average on test spiking as high as 2.7. Versus 2.2 on live. Thats in the usual quested/legendary T8 gear with the odd T1 fabled (Ielond on eq2players). I'll edit this post with the actual numbers when I get home.

On live in most fights I had to sprint or hit a power spell a time or 2, on test I only needed to concentrate on re-use timers.I did notice though, that test server felt a lot less laggy (having FOUR people on the whole server might have something to do with that), and that for me anyway geography will skew things (Test server is I presume in USA, I play on Runneye (Europe), and live in Australia, so I always have perpetuality issues).

An interesting test I have planned for this weekend if time permits, is to see how my illusionist fairs as a coercer - I copied it to test with 20 odd T8 coercer Adept3's in his bags, and as I only have a couple of T8 masters and no illusionist specific gear it should be reasonably fair if I can find the time to betray.

p.s In wall testing I cast prismatic on myself NOT the pet, and I don't see it timing out with charges left - that might be why I'm parsing slightly higher. Yes, I know that not how we normally solo, but the wall doesn't fight back.

p.p.s. My gear on EQ2players doesn't look quite right, I swap in a couple of pieces (Str ring, haste wrist) depending on whether grouped with a dirge or not, and it seems to have caught me in dirge/melee spec.

With a ping of 270+, certainly makes queuing spells a must to keep Perpetuality going at max all the time, so you have to think 2-3 seconds ahead.........which sucks, but hey, it works.

Just managed a test or 2 after betraying, before bed.Result - only 2.1k dps on the wall on my 3rd go (first 2 were even lower but I'm still working out spell rotations), and managed to aggro adjacent monks with Shock Wave Conclusion - Coercers will easily outdps illusionists.Reasons: 1) An entire spell line (Hostage) doesn't even work on the wall on test2) I forgot another T8 spell, so I'm using a level 70 AppIV (Cataclysmic Mind) I scrounged from the broker3) No pet of any kind, no Puppet Master.4) AppIV Impetus (dps buff so not big deal), again through oversightCompare this to my Illusionist averaging 2.4kI still think we win buffwise (the sexier dps buffs) vs the priest/tank ones coercers get, but dps wise they are at least on par nowSo let the betrayals commence
