I agree. I am also on PvP (I'm on a PvE server as well), but I do not level lock anymore. I want to have good AA at a lower level. Making grey quests give more experience just makes it faster to get to 80 and gives me less of a chance to enjoy the splendors of the game's content.

I fail to see the logic of having grey quests award more than the nominal amount of xp they do currently on live. The AA xp from quests 10 and above, yes I can see the reason for that, but why would anyone who really cares about the amount of xp they are getting be doing grey quests? The only people I know who do grey quests other than ones required for progression or that reward status are the people who are doing the quests for the sake of the quest itself, not the xp reward.

Not long ago, there was no grey quests. Just green ones. The grey quests were introduced to separate those who gave AAxp and those who did not. That was a good change.

2 or 3 months ago, they changed the order XP was given to make the quests who would turn gray at completing to make them xp nonetheless. That was a good change.

And now, all quests will give AAxp ... What was the point of the 2 changes described above.

AA xp is easy to get, really easy. My dirge was around is 40lvl when KoS was released. I don't play him much, so now he's 58. I got 52AA now.

Making it even easier is useless.

I don't really mind the change to make grey quests give AA. It gives my monk something to do besides kill things for AA, since he's near lvl 80 and has finished almost every quest (non-heroic) that is not greyed out.

However, I think that giving a player the ability to turn off quest or even AA xp is a grand idea. I'm no software developer, so have no idea as to what a change like this might entail, but it would leave the choice with the end-user... and I think that's usually a good thing.

First off, I would like to say........For the people who have started their toons( like myself) after AA was implemented, yes it is easy.....For those people who had maxed out toons BEFORE AA was implemented, I think this is really good for them....I have heard from some who have had their toons from way before AA was even in the game that it is alil difficult do get AA maxed, especially from the people who do not want to grind killing names all the time, and would much rather get AA from quests than names after they have done most of the quests that their level can give them..I think this is an awesome change! I do not see how this is game changing for anyone, or changes anyone game style. If you dont want to gain that much experience from quests dont do greyed out quests. If you do greyed out quests THAT MUCH on a regular basis and is actually a game breaker for you.... I dont know, to me this is a little small thing to be that worried about, and like other people has said putting in a lock for AA xp probably would be a solution, but as for taking this out....I would leave it.
