LU45 will see some significant changes to the coercer class. You guys appear far behind on dps especially compared to your illusionist counterparts so its time for some changes. (Aeralik wrote)I dont want any else only asking u . U think this update did it?So what we get from current changes.we get a new pet class should be call :Cripple (looks like a normal summoner or charmed pet , but a puppet master is more useful. -is true, i cannot tested in raid - and the cost u cannot charmed a pet together with this Cripple) We get our main spells unattached from mob class, its give us a chance to make damage as other mage class depend our stat and mob resist. it seems good ,until we see our spell make a "little" less damage as was and we get "little" longer recast time.We get Tashania new version so our item process has a chance to make a little bigger damage but our spells which mental based make a little less again. We get another changes which make us better utility, but Why started this changes? Oh .... i remember (if u not read the top of of this topics) And i see many times when i read posts here Coercer is over powered. If im grouping with instance in the most case ( when im not Coercer) would like illusionist to get with me becose he not only mezzer and battery and hate-handler but he can do damage not so much as a good player from any dps class but more than average player from this dps class. And yes i can found a group when im coercer but only if no illusionist or some of my friend invite me.So after this live update we appear far behind on dps especially compared to your illusionist counterparts ,so its time for some changes Again1 sorry about "not coherent English" 2 there is a many parses impression in this forum. I tried not spamming a forum. Was my target to take attention a different about what wrote Aeralik as target of this update, and what happened

If you would take the time to : 1.: type actual coherent english 2. : post some parses, breakdowns, or at least impressions from people actually testing this out, you would get some answers

Apparently he feels that:

The new Possess Essence is underpowered.

Then he dislikes the recent damage reduction and increase to reuse time on Spell Scourge.

Finally he somehow dislikes the changes to Tashaina.

His position seems to be that the end result does not boost our DPS as was the stated intent of the changes.

Frankly if my reactives actually have a chance to burn all charges before recast in group fights I'm anticipating a DPS boost there. The fact that it will be triggered off incoming damage instead of outgoing means we don't have to forgo CC spells in order to DPS. If we debuff all damage with Tashaina we'll actually be able to justify dumping points in that AA line which will improve all our debuffs... a boost to group DPS there even if the total debuff on Tash is a bit smaller. As for Possess Essense it at least provides an option for a "safe" if less beefy pet. The concentration cost is a bit of a concern to me, but in smaller groups it will provide a less stressful option to grabbing a risky pet for extra DPS, IMO.
