Maybe others do it differently but I have never kited to do damage per say, but the times i have had to kite to fight a much higher mob is only to allow some stuns to reset the timers so I wouldnt be going toe to toe with the mob.  The secret to brig solo's are the stuns, time them, right, know how many hits and CA's you can get off between stuns exactly, and if needs be snare to allow stuns to reset and start over.

it's also possible to solo mobs that don't have ranged attacks by using stuns then snaring anr running in circles while waiting for stuns to refresh. usually requires a little bit of room and some practice.

In tier 8...the only heroic nameds we can kill as brigands are the ones for quests...and maybe some of the very best brigands can solo a named or 2 in KC... The key to kill heroics for brigands is to stun, let hell break loose while the mob is stuned...then snare and let it run after you while your CAs repop...then stun with our ranged CA, rinse and repeat.

Since I must be one of the 'best brigs' that can solo 2 named in KC. Here are a few tips for the level 80 solo brig.Gear is a super high priority.. You need one of 2 types of gear. 1) raiding gear with Super high mit (400+ on pieces) or1) stun gear, and a lot of it. I know there are 0 pieces of stun gear that drop in raid zones, so this is obtainable by everyone.2) run these poisons <ol><li>Expert's Vitality Breech</li><li>Grandmaster's .... Shoot its the one with a stun proc</li><li>Expert's Enfeebling.....</li></ol>Why those 3?Get life, stun to reduce incoming damage, reduce str to reduce incoming damage.3) As many masters spells as you can get your hands on (more damage = less time fighing)4) learn the correct order to maximize damage and reliably maximize stun time.. This is VERY important and spend time ordering your items so you only have to truely thing about it once.5) Learn when to snare and kite =)6) Use thugs before your last stun is down and beg for mercy on yourself. This will give you a few extra seconds (esp if you combo with hideaway) in case there is no room to snare.7) Use your 2 temporary buffs before you pull the big bad named.. its like having more stun gear.. it only helps you.<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> don't suck... <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />" />..
