Before I get all giddy, can someone verify if this is a new voice quote?

Frubbuppa in NQ said something to the effect of, "Very soon we shall rebuild a new Gukta!".

She only mentioned it to me once while I passed her, and was like, "WHAT?!" I backed up and hailed her as I have never heard her say this before, and she won't say it again no matter how many times I hail her.

I thought I took a screenshot, but I can't find it ANYWHERE

I thought maybe she said this before from the Froglok Event, but as I said, I have NEVER heard her say that. I have spent ALOT of time in NQ too, btw.

Sounds like wishful thinking.. I think they've said that for a while.

I don't know....I'm pretty sure that I've never heard that before, and I make it a point to hail everyone on a semi-regular basis to see if they have any new things to say that may be foreshadowing, or old things that may have new relevance.I think that may be new. I know that most of the Frog's in Qeynos are still talking about finding their lost brethren and such, and one talking about rebuilding Gukta would lead me to think that had to have been put in AFTER the Frog's were set free. Then, there is the whole speculation that the Innothule Swamp may be rediscovered sometime soonish...It certainly is an exciting time for us lore-junkies lately, ay?

Female froglok npcs in Qeynos have been saying that line for as long as I've been playing the game (not too long after launch). It's not new.

I'm thinking that the only reason they wont' update the dialogue of the halfings, high elves, wood elves, and frogloks around Qeynos to reflect current events is because they don't want to hire more voice actors to record the lines.

Why not get Players to do so, especially once they get the new live speaking system (I hope it allows you to modulate your voice for RPing)

They'd have to pay the players to do the voice overs, as federally mandated by law.

I misspoke I meant an EQII supported channel much like many raiders use (I probably need to get that hardware/software sometime) I remember hearing rumors that it would have one soon. I was thinking that it would allow SoE to have a sort of in-game audition. Some form of compensation is mandated by law. Pay sure but probably a lot less then Hellywood

They can modulate your voice to make a male sound female, a female sound male, a person sound like a talking lizard, what have you. It is made by the same company SOE has hired to do their voice chat, so it is possible.
