Greetings,

TSR Daniel H here. I've been with Everquest 2 since launch and have been working for SOE for the past 7 months as a technical support representative. So, now that introductions are out of the way, lets see what we can do about this issue.

Are you still able to click on the CA/Spell icons even though they are blank? If so, when you mouse over the spell icon does it show a refresh time that seems extremely long? If that's the case then it is likely that your computer clock or timezone is set incorrectly. Everquest 2 uses the system clock to display recast timers and this could be the cause of your issue. Double check your system clock to make sure that you have the correct time zone and clock settings.

Please respond if the issue persists and we'll see what we can do.

Hello again Eesti,At this point I would advise deleting the files that contain those images. We'll then let the patcher redownload them. I have included the default location of the folder I would like you to delete. Keep in mind that this folder is around ~200mb and will need to be redownloaded before logging back in. So, if you have a slower connection and need to get in game very soon, you may want to do this fix as you sleep or while you're at work. Here's the default location for the folder:C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest IIUIDefaultimagesPlease respond if the issue persists.

At this point I'd like to check the account to find out whether this is client-side or account-side. To log in to the account and investigate this I will need to get the account name from you somehow. You could either PM me the account name or you could create a customer service ticket and post the reference number so I can assign it to myself. Thanks for your patience with this issue.

Ok, I have logged in to the account from my computer and I am not getting the same problem. All of the spell icons are appearing normally for me. We're going to do one more round of file deletion to see if we can get your UI to display those icons. You may want to delete the following files and folders:cache foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.iniAs well as the character specific files, these will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.iniTo do this, please follow these directions: 1. First look for your EverQuest II directory. You can find the directory in the default directory:2. Click on MY COMPUTERCRIVEPROGRAM FILESSONYEVERQUEST II3. Next look for any files explained above and delete them. 4. Afterwards, please start EverQuest II to have these files re-downloaded by the patcher. Please respond if this does not correct the issue.
