Anyone know what stat helps us do the most damage while raiding? I undersatnd that all of these stats help with our dps, but which actually does the most damage. Pre ROK, gear for raiding was a clear choice, but there is som many added stats now who knows unless someone has done extensive testing. For instance I have a helm with +2 cirt 2DA /and another one with +65CA and also +30int more.another example is Shoulders with +3crit +3RangedDA, and no STR comared to the MC ones which have 30str and +45CA. Any Insight or even guesses on this topic will be appreciated

For pure dps you want melee crit all the way. It's the single most influential effect for assassin dps.Now both STR and INT is important, but I would not give up nice effects like MC (melee crit), DA and +CA for those stats. In groups and when raiding its easy to get buffs for those stats anyway.

So to answer your question; I would wear the helmet with 2 MC/DA and I would wear the shoulders with 3 MC/RDA.

Also keep in mind that +CA only works for 50% of BASE CA damage of any given CA, while you get the same dps increase from each point of MC all the way to the cap (MC is capped at 100 for white con mobs and higher for yellow/orange).

MC > DA > +CA > STR > INT (one other thing worth mentioning is that SC (spell crit) makes us crit poisons more often, but don't give up any other effects or stats for that).

Edit: spelling...

I was always under the impresion it was

Crit>CA>DA

Just for assassins. Due to our CA spamming nature the +CA would make more of a difference. Also there are classes that will buff your DA rate, where there are none that will buff your +CA, hence why you need to fill that gap yourself.

I would rather have a bracelet that gave 3DA then one with 35 CA, but would also pick the bracelet if it had 80 CA over another with 2DA.

As noted general stats are not as important as the specialized components such as crit. A decent raid set up should get your stats near the cap provided you have a decent starting amount, 700 str for example is a number that has been put forth a lot. Crit is without question the most important damage modifier for assassins since it will increase damage both from auto attack and combat arts. Second should come combat art damage modifiers, however there is a cap to this so concentrating too much on this is ineffective. Double attack is also very important but by the calculations of most it is third on the list. Once again in a good raid setup however your double attack should be buffed to a decent level. The numbers escape me at the moment but I have seen calculations that relate crit to ca+ to double attack in terms of how much of one equals another based on a sliding scale.

what about haste? I dont have great gear that i can wear yet, i am only lvl 75. I had about 24% melee crit. And i was told that i should give up 2% from my cloak for a 28% haste cloak, that it would be better dps.

Us assassins self buff dps and not haste, so we need items to improve that. All assassins should have one haste item that adds 25+ haste.
