I've been out for about 10 months (wow how time flies) and am level 70....wondering where I can go to solo up to 80 - I mainly play off hours and don't want to deal with groups yet.

I've purchased Kunark and have all the expansions up to that. Any help is appreciated =)

xo

Well, the RoK zones are lousy with nominally-soloable questlines. Getting to 80 on those quests isn't really a major problem (I tend to ding 80 about half-way through Kunzar Jungle, before I've even touched Jarsath Wastes). But the mobs in the RoK zones hit like freight trains. You don't dare let them get into melee range, not while wearing T7 armor anyway. It gets better after you hit 72 and can upgrade to at least your T8 mastercrafted (don't let the mitigation numbers on your T7 fool you, look at the %damage mitigated against an even-con opponent), but you still need to be careful to pull only single mobs and have enough space to keep the mob way away from you. What I'd do is hit the T7 zones like Bonemire and Loping Plains. If you haven't done the questlines in them, pick those quests up for extra XP. See if you can ding 71. Then hit Kylong Plains and try the first quests there. Especially the ones from Borbin Happens, that lead to you getting your sokokar and transportation around the zones. Mobs in the RoK zones give very little XP just from killing them, most of your XP will come from quests. If you can root-and-nuke OK, run the quests until you hit 72. If not, farm Loping Plains and Bonemire for mob XP until you hit 72. Then get at least 72 mastercrafted gear and you should have an easier time in Kylong Plains. In RoK, the questlines tend to lead you along. At the end of each quest hub you'll get a quest that'll take you on to the next one in the zone. The last quest hub in the zone will give you a quest that'll send you to the starting hub in the next zone.

leveling from 70 to 80 in RoK pauses no problems, as there are hundred of quests that you can easily solo, and they give a big amount of XP. I would say 80% (or more) of the quests in the 4 zones are solo.

Yep, Kunark all the way. Just follow the quest lines. It's the fastest way to level.

What I like to do is start at the Docks in Kylong Plains and don't take quests from other places until I am sent to that area through another quest. The quest lines bread crumb you there pretty effectively.
