Do I understand this right?

I've recently took my coercer off the dusty shelves in anticipation of the upcoming changes and I have been noticing that my item procs are awakening mezzed mobs when I cast root or reactives.  I believe that when you proc damage while casting mez the damage takes effect first then the mez.  Is there a way to prevent item procs on reactives while a mob is mezzed and is this something we want to add the dev list to fix???

<p>If the proc triggers on a successful hostile spell landing then casting a reactive would proc it I would think. Any incoming damage to health or power breaks mezz so  there ya go. Could you specify which piece of gear/proc you're using and what reactive spell that's triggering it?</p>

I believe it is spell scourge and the bracelet of thule

<p>Bracelet of Thule is on a successful spell attack, which doesn't trigger spell curse or hostage or mez.</p><p>Pretty much any other proc item is on hostile spell which covers anything you cast on a mob basically.  </p><p>No there's no way to prevent items from proc'ing on the mob, but if you throw a root on it after you mez you're usually okay.</p>
