I have a level 54 Guardian would the Qeynos Claymore be be worth starting and finishing  the quest line for?

yes, the aa lone makes it worthwhile. not to mention quite a few usefull quest rewards and one of the best tower shields at the end of it.

I"ve never raided and mostly group with friends can some of the raid content be groupable?

If I recall, once you are done with POA it is all raid related from their.  An x2 in BS followed by some single groups stuff in HoF and then Finally Death Toll (raid).  DT requires flagging so you will ahve to raid up and kill Harla Darla and 2-3 other dragons I recall.

I don't believe it's worth doing. The AA is fine, but nothing special. You can get the same AA doing other quicker easier quests. The quest series is 2 expansions old, takes a lot of work, time, and help... and the final rewards are basically trash compared to T8 loot.

It is certainly worth starting the quest line.The initial quests are not difficult, and if you get to PoA the loot is decent for someone who does not raid (and is of the level matching the quests). Unless you have a dedicated group you might find yourself getting ahead of the quests, or just getting tired of SoS or PoA, so you might choose not to finish it.Personnally I think all the major questlines are worth doing once just for the lore.After PoA you need to kill the first 2 names in AoAx2.Then you need to do Labs, or get a raid to let you zone in after they have cleared the zone.You also need Deathtoll. Only one person in the raid needs to have access.
