View Full Version : Mental vs. Spell Mods

<p>Pretty much all of our spells are Mental damage.  So is there a reason you would take a +25 Spell Damage Mod over a +50 Mental Damage Mod?  </p><p>Just wanting to make sure I'm not missing something that makes the Spell Damage Mod more attractive.</p>

Don't think you're missing anything, unless the spell mod is one of those spell / combat art combos.

+50 Mental mod is better. It increases our combat arts as well as spells.

Um... unless this has changed VERY recently, it's not true. My main's a paladin, and has a +divine damage adornment on his tablet. All his spells and CAs are divine damage.  He even kicks divinely. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/2786c5c8e1a8be796fb2f726cca5a0fe.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" /> And the divine damage adornment did NOT affect his CAs the last time I checked, only his spells.
