Update Problem

I just reinstalled EQ 2 on a new computer and I am having a problem in which the updater finishes upday but does not give me the "play" icon. It just remains the gray "update" icon, which is an unavailable link. I am paying monthly for this game, so I'd like it to get working

<p>Your patience is impressive.</p><p>Does your new computer use Vista?  Did you, perchance, look at the stickied topic about Vista problems?  I'm almost positive that was where I found the bit about making sure I was running the patcher in Administrator mode.</p><p>Search is your friend.</p>
