i could swear i saw a coercer with lvl 80 legendary set gear he had 2 peices , was wondering if there was any for other classes and if so do they drop like in eof , thru various instanced or contested group dungeons , i have looked on eq2i and have found nothing but info on the fabled gear , which is a bit beyond my scope in the game, any help or links would be appriciated.

Level 80 legendary set armor is strictly RoK. They drop in various open dungeons and instances. No guaranteed drops unlike Unrest, OOB, etc.

Also try LOOTDB if ye have the name of the armor or mob that drops armor. For instance my set armor is called Divine Rhapsody.

First off, the sets are L77. Not L80. Second, they're designed terribly. Look below. Priest Sets [Plate Set] Divine Rhapsody: Templar, Inquisitor [Chain Set] Enigmatic Sacrifice: Defiler, Mystic, Templar, Inquisitor [Leather Set] Wayward Moon: All Priests Problem: As you can see, the three sets aren't designed for just one class. While RoK does use Smart Loot from EoF, because the sets are itemized so badly it doesn't help. For example, if a Templar is in a group and a Priest Set item drops...it checks ALL THREE sets against the Templar - Leather, Chain, AND Plate and assigned the appropriate piece from a random set to drop...unless the Templar already has it. Which means to ensure that Divine Rhapsody drops, you have to have the appropriate piece from both Enigmatic Sacrifice AND Wayward Moon in your bank or on you so Smart Loot will drop the Divine Rhapsody piece. In comparison, Druids (Furies and Wardens) can only use Leather...so Wayward Moon will be the only set that drops for them. How Priest Sets Should've Been [Plate Set] Divine Rhapsody: Templar, Inquisitor [Chain Set] Enigmatic Sacrifice: Defiler, Mystic [Leather Set] Wayward Moon: Fury, Warden Here are the rest of the sets...just as badly set up. Fighter Sets [Plate Set] Ravaged Onslaught: Guardian, Berserker, Shadowknight, Paladin [Plate Set] Sanctification: Guardian, Berserker, Shadowknight, Paladin [Leather Set] Quarrelsome: Bruiser, Monk Scout Set [Chain Set] Impetuous Strikes: All Scouts Mage Set [Cloth Set] Blistered Strand: All Mages

Yeah the Blistered Strand is the only legendary mage set for T8 that drops.

Kind of ugly too.

you know soe you had a pretty good idea with the instanced armor sets in eof , i mean one heroic set and one epic fabled set , heroic was

instanced out on most of the drops and fabled was with some(at the time)challenging raid zones. with the application of smart-loot everything

seemed alot smoother.

with all the solo action in rok you would think instanced zones for set drops would be a smart idea,to break up the soloist mentality and put

those drops in a nice neat organized package just like in eof,BUT NOOOOO you had to lump all fighters together all mystics mages etc. and spred

the drops out randomly over multiple contested and instanced dungeons. now smart loot is FUBARED , and at what might be at first looked upon

as challenging, turns out to be taxing and a complete turn off to players that dont have time to hunt every dungeon in 1 night to get that armor

drop. to put it simply it is beyond tedious and bordering on moronic.
