I agree. When I try to sit down on my knees in real life, my legs go numb before long. It's very uncomfortable.

I agree too. She looks very comfortable, the current sitting is very cramped up, and crazy. I'm hoping with the new models we get, they re-do some animations, and we get new sit poses.

Heh, I remember that sitting position. I think they changed it when they redid all of the character animations a couple years ago.

I never saw it and I've been playing since launch.

That's almost exactly how the Luclin model characters sit in EQ1. I definitely prefer it to the current sit animation.

Sogas should sit in the current way, non-sogas should sit in the way posted by the OP ^^

Indeed, much is not as beta pics and videos promised. Even nowadays with average PCs being able to display EQ2 smooth in high detail.

I never saw it either and I've been playing since a few months after launch. That "sit" must have been phased out of the game very early. I distinctly remember a ratonga friend sitting on a fence post in the current sit pose shortly after I began playing that first spring of EQ2.

I believe there were some models that were removed or revamped, and apparently some emotes as well. Neither that sit animation, or that model, ever made it out of beta.
This is so much better! Please please please!!!

Oh my gosh...that ... that's sitting. What we have now is just about as far from sitting as you can possibly get.I really hope this is added back in. I'd tack my hopes on for it to go in with the skeletal revamp, but that might be years away, heh, so I'll say- bring it back, as soon as possible! Right now? Please? Pretty please?I remember being under the impression early on that little things were going to be added to the game as time went on. More voiceovers, most prominently, but also animations and the like. It's sad to see that such things never really happened.

Better yet, allow us to select which animation we want for our character. Hmm..customizable animations..maybe something to think about on a larger scale as well?

Decent and new animations, something to look forward to after the Fabled Skeletal Revamp eh.

That sitting pose looks great. Natural and comfortable. That one alone would be better than the pose we currently have. Course, it'd be even better to have a few, racial or class based, or just four archetype based animations.

Specialized animations and emotes would be awesome. There are already some class-based fluff spells that serve as emotes, but it'd be nice to have more. I think they were already heading in this direction a while back, actually. The different voice options for emotes lets us choose to make our character sound valorous, crazy, etc. Applying such detail to animations and emotes just seems like the next natural step.

I played since Beta (last 3-4 weeks) and also never saw that animation in the game. However i have often seen that picture and would also be happy to see that ingame, since it also looks much more like the sit animation in Lineage that i played before EQ2.
