I seem to have some routing issues getting connected to SOE patch servers from the launchpad atm.

I'm getting "Cannot connect to network" from home when running launchpad. I've tried tracing from my home to the IP addresses my laptop connects to when starting up the launchpad from work and I'm not getting a route. I'm on BoB Broadband at work (Level3 is their backbone), at home I'm on Comcast, which also uses Level3 as a backbone...

I was able to get on at 8AM CST, then at 10AM CST I could no longer get a route from my home. I am able to get in game from launching everquest2.exe and bypassing the launchpad on my home machine.

I'm not sure if this is a Comcast issue with routing, my home router, my firewall or what...I'm pretty sure it's a Comcast problem since I'm not getting a route whatsoever tracing to any of the IPs the launchpad uses.

I am getting a route to: patch-virt7.station.sony.com (64.37.156.7), but not getting a route to: 199.93.44.124 (which does not have a DNS reverse lookup record associated with it, but is listed as being on Level3's network)

These are the address ranges I have for EQ2 servers:

195.33.135.1 - 195.33.135.255199.108.11.1 - 199.108.11.255199.108.12.1 - 199.108.12.255199.108.13.1 - 199.108.13.255199.108.202.1 - 199.108.202.255199.108.203.1 - 199.108.203.25564.37.158.1 - 64.37.158.255

So, any help would be great...

Looks like I'm fixed up...

I use a P3 600mhz machine with Win2k server on it, 2 nic cards, one connected to my cable modem, one connected to a switch, and RRAS setup to do my NAT. I went through and cleared the cache on my 3 DNS servers, redid the NAT setup in RRAS, cleared my firewall config (BlackIce), restarted the RRAS service and nothing worked. Finally I just ended up rebooting the computer I use as a router and everything worked out. Something was wrong with the routing tables RRAS was using I'm assuming and the machine needed a complete reboot to get it working again. I suspect I lost my lease on my IP from Comcast and when I got a new one the routing tables windows was using just got all trashed.

So, nevermind
