Ok just got done upgrading my computer and thought i would try it out and play EQ2 here, turned up the settings to see how things work and after a few minutes the system freezes/hangs ups completely(no response to any input and sound stutters in loop of only a second). I have to manually reboot the system but after I've done so everything is fine all thou 1 time i did have to reinstall my audio drivers because i lost all sound, the card showed up in the device manager but would not output sound. But this get weirder yet, if i put it on very high quality(under performance) and miles fast sound(under sound) it doesn't crash but if I put to extreme quality it crashes.So could it be my sound card? It is a card I bought 3/6/2006 and have had intermittent problems(2-3 problems in time I've had it) over the years but they have always went away after a day or 2. Could this card not be compatible with my OS? Or maybe just bad?And now i know your going on about what my system specs are well here they are wanted to only list them once:Intel QX9650XFX 790i UltraXFX 9800 GX2 times 2(yes Quad sli)4 gigs Patriot MemoryCreative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic 7.1(this is the card that I'm wondering could be my problem)Vista Home Premium 64bit SP1and yes most up to date drivers for all devices as of this posting date.
