Game connection

I am able to log into the game, yet items won't render.  If I type something, it won't ever hit the screen and I'm booted to character select.  I tried a full file scan and that didn't help.  If I log to an alt the same thing happens.  The only difference from last night to tonight is a got a new cable modem.
