PVP?

What is pvp in eq2? is it player vs player any race? or faction or what?  Please explain this to me alittle bit if you would. I'm having issueing picking a good server before I get all crazy into the game.

PvP is alignment based...  Good against evil against exile basically.ALl good citizens (Qeynos and Kelethin) Battle against the evil citizens (Freeport, Neriak and Gorowyn).  Both faction are able to attack those in Exile (in the process of betraying....) Some say that Exile is the true version of PvP as you are a target from both Good and Evil...

Venekor is a smaller population so its more "casual PvP". Naggy is high population and basically "Kill or be killed PvP". And, Vox is Live Gamer.. and its "Wallet vs. Wallet".
