I really like this spell. Even though its a dot, the damage is slow enough that I dont have to worry about it breaking root too much. Plus I just like seeing the mob fall on its [Removed for Content] every 8 seconds. Right now I just have it at adept 1 level and am keeping an eye out for the ancient teachings scroll so I can scribe it up to adept 3. Im wondering how much I should be willing to pay. Its great now, but will it scale up as I level or will I find in 5 or so levels that its not so hot anymore?

Yeah it's cool seeing a mob fall on its [Removed for Content] every 8 seconds, but that spell isn't too hot. I would rather hit for 4.5k with ball of fire at lvl 72 than to hit for 1k with surging tempest. It's a decent add-on, but I'm usually too busy casting my big nukes and/or roots to worry about my smaller nukes. In groups it's ok, but nothing more.

actually it completely depends on your style of play.Soloing - You can find value in the fact that it hits big enough and slow enough it can be used in conjunction with roots most of the timeGrouping - Less use imo, since mobs don't take very long to die, you never get off more than 2-3 ticksRaiding - Very Valuable, it's got bugs like it steals Freehand sorcery, but overall, it's a nice spell, it's set on the mob, and you don't have to worry about it again for quite a while. It all depends on your playstyle.

But if it isnt going to scale with me as I level then it wont be worth spending big money on if I ever see it on broker.</p>
