I'm in the same boat. My brigand is 22 now, and just recieved blackjack! Yay...awesome combat art, but I now have to redo my hotbars. I have too many combat arts I want all grouped close at this point. Not complaining, but I'd like to see a few people's set up. Preferably sub 50 so they don't have too many combat arts I don't have, but beggers can't be choosers.

Thanks in advance for any setup pictures or advice.

I'm sitting right now at 57th, so I know what you mean about having to constantly rearrange your hot bars. At this moment, I run only 3 Hotbars since I primarily solo. Once I start to consistently group more, I'll be opening up a 4th Hotbar. (The 4th bar will be filled with my aggro loss and agrro gain arts.)

I use my top bar for my long term buffs, short term buffs, and my targeting macro (for when I group). The middle bar is filled with my backstabs, walk the plank, stealth attacks, AoE, and other misc abilities. But the bottom bar is my KISS (keep it simple stupid) bar.

My ranged attack art is at #1. Melee auto attack is #2. Cheap Shot is #3. Then I fill #4 - #9 with all of my quick refreshing melee arts that can be used in any circumstance. (Part of these are the strkes from the Strength tree.) I've got my Blackjack (later version) in #0. Followed by my racial half-elf debuff strike in "-". Finally my Gouge style attack is at "=".

Basically starting a combat completely fresh means that I start with my ranged art (#1) to pull. Then in descending order, I start on the right side of the keyboard and simply hit each button in order as I go down the line. (I keep my racial strike and Blackjack together since they have the exact same slower refresh timer. The same goes for my combat arts in slots #4 - #9. I placed Gouge at the end since it's circumstancial due to a mob's orientation.)

I realize that other may not agree with my set up, but each to their own.

(Edit: I place my bottom bar in a descending order that is built to debuff the mob's defenses with the initial attacks so that my later arts from the Strength tree have a better chance of hitting successfully.)

I have 3 rows of hotbars, 1st row are macros with each key having 2 combat arts of similar type, i.e. 2 backstabs, 2 frontal attacks, 2 debuffs. 2nd row are stuns, with each stun mapped to q, e, r, t keys, alternating between stun attack, directional root, walk the plank (placed this way becaus of immunity timers). This way as soon as i stun, i can jump to mobs/players back hit the macros just above (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 keys). All keys are close together so stuns in 2nd row can be followed by any attacks from the macros in the 1st row. I use 3 rd row for less frequent attacks, i.e. ruse, maddening throw. This is basically my pvp setup. The key is having all keys close so u can interchange easily w/o having to look at the keyboard.
