From level 10 to 70, you can earn 100 AA.

From level 70 to 80, you can earn an additional 40 AA.

You may or may not earn all 100 prior to reaching level 70, but if you do, you will earn no AA until you ding 70. Once you do, you will begin earning AA again.

I think the only "choke" on how fast you earn AA is on the PvP servers. On Lucan D'Lere, one of the RP PvE servers, I have my "baby" ranger at level 61 with 83 AA points, and I'd be quite surprised if I am not above 100 before I am 70. And I don't disable combat XP or any silly stuff like that - I just do lots of quests and kill lots of names.

To be clear for the OP, the only restriction you could face is that you cannot go over 100 until you reach level 71.. if you did reach 100aa before level 71 you would stop getting AAs till you reached 71. Its not a likely scenario for most people though, and if it did happen it wouldnt cost you anything long term.

Shaun

You can get up to 100 AP points prior to lvl 70 depending how many quests you do, named mob kills you get, and collection/disco you can get. It is entirely possible to have 100 AP by around level 50ish I've heard. However you will not gain any more experience towards AP until you reach level 71.

The only caveat I potentially see to capping 100 aa's before 71 is that if you kill named or epics you haven't killed previously will you get AA for them if you go back and kill them a second time?

If so, i might save those kills for 71.

Not sure how this works but thought I would add a little information.

quests really are the way to go. i did solo and zone grind for lvls 1 thru 60 and ended up with maybe 34 aa. from 60 to 68 i did as many quests as i could and went from 34 to 67 aa. im just about caught up to toon level with aa, just from doing a maybe 100 quests along with exploring, collections, items, and named's. i wish i knew quests was where the aa rolled sooner, as a necro i'd have killed to get tainted heals 40 levels ago.

My SK had 100 AA at level 70 before RoK came out, and as soon as I did my first quest in RoK I got AA again. Originally in beta they were going to have it start back up at 71 but it was changed to 70 when RoK went live.

I hit 100 Achievement about 20% into 69. When I got no Achievement for killing a named in KoS, I spent the rest of that level imitating a plat farmer on Strifewind Island AEing Vultaks to death mindlessly until I hit 70

I am thinking of turning Combat XP off at level 63 and then grinding the four Qeynos writs until I have max faction there anyway.
