even when using the extreme performance settings. Obviously my computer isn't ideal for the game, however in the past I have been able to get reasonable performance using high performance and even balanced settings. Can anyone tell me which settings will make the msot difference when adjusted.
Patch the test server. There's alot to download so will take a little bit of time. Log in to a character and check the box for Vertex reuse. That should clear up most of the problem until they can get a real fix instead of a bandaid.

*edit* Just saw what kind of video card you had. I assumed it was the 8800, which spawned my bandaid comment. The vertex reuse checkbox in your display tab in game "Should" help you by leaps and bounds.

Tippy@Oasis wrote:
Why do I do this on test?
Because it hasnt gone live yet. For some reason though when you patch this on test, it shows up on live.

I'm not on test and see this option so you might have issue if you had to go to test first.... I have not used this option yet but its there so can't comment on how it works.

For some reason the option to reuse the shaders shows up for me on live, but not test, which is the opposite lol. Dunno whats up with that. I checked the box on live and it didn't make any difference. When on extreme performance, if I crank up some of the settings to give better quality, the FPS doesnt seem to get any lower but stays at around 11. So it seems I get the low FPS (around 11) on all settings from balanced to extreme performance which is strange.Another thing I have noticed is that when I log into the game I have a FPS of around 40. After around 5 mins of standing completely still the FPS has gradually dropped to around 11-15. I've tried this in multiple zones and have had the same result.

Exactly whats hapenning to me ....exact samething !

Tried this morning for fun to turn the graphics at balanced again and the fps stays the same , 9-11 , go back to high performance or extreme same fps 9-11 avg....

Something has to be wrong SoE!

Could we get a word from a tech plz to acknowledge the problem...seems u guys fixed the 8800 series of card whatsoever but no word for ours!

Like i said earlier i run on a x1950 ati series card

So perhaps there is an issue with my video card? Can anyone advise me as to what I should do about it?
