Collapsible Fishing Pole: Halfway there

Like the other harvesting tools, the collapsible fishing pole gives a 10 day buff.  The patch notes also said it could be used from inventory.  No such luck on that.  Even if you have the buff up, unless you have the fishing pole in a charm slot you will not be able to see the schools of fish.Close, but not quite there.

<p>Yea i noticed this also, I was hoping that others that are less ... Um swift about it would forget all about having to equip it to see the schools, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO you had to post they have to equip it. LOL</p><p>Anyways yea, i personally don't even bother with that buff because i have the tinkered tools which work just fine. I just have to equip it if i want to see the schools.</p>

Send a /bug on it referencing the patch notes so QA can kick it a couple times!

I mean technically it is working by design. The buff is able to be applied via a use, and the funtionality of that buff is working fine. The only issue is the equiping of the item to see the schools, and well that was obviously not a function of the buff so it never got touched.

But if the patch notes said it'd be usable from inventory, then it's probably a bug.  Unless that fishing pole is an exception.

From the update notes for GU44: The Collapsible Fishing Pole can now be used from inventory slots. That implies that one should be able to see the schools of fish with the pole in the inventory. FWIW, I /bugged it before posting here.
