Great, I guess since I'm trying to level lock, that I have to be extra careful not to do ANY quests this weekend. What was the point of this extra XP again? Oh yeah, leveling up is sooooo hard, that's right.

ReficulFonwaps wrote:
Yay!! Too bad it's also Conan pvp weekend...
Don't think that's going to be an issue.. In my opinion I think we'll see a lot of disappointed hopefuls returning instead after a week or two. Can't disclose details due to NDA.. but been there.. done the beta.

Is this a 50% or 100% bonus weekend? Just curious so i can stick the right amount in my blog..

Oh, Btw, While i'm here,

I'm under the understanding that vetran rewards are now per character for most rewards instead of 3 characters per account. One of the previous xp weekends, I measured the tradeskill XP and it was giving me a 20% bonus.

Thanks for giving us this promotion. I am assuming, however, that this doesnt include AA XP. Could we have a weekend that gives us bonus AA XP? I'm sure that this would make many of us, especially those of us on the PVP servers, quite happy. Thanks again!

I'm sure Domino can confirm, but I believe I was getting much better than 20% myself off of basic recipes. Didn't watch writ exp advancement though.

Don't worry Grimfang.. nobody else got it either. There is no bonus exp on the Crushbone server. Maybe somebody forgot to throw the switch!!

A guide told me online today that the bonus was double base xp, didn't stack with vitality-bonus. In other words, when you run out of vita-bonus, you don't notice a difference.Well, I did a test:My weaponsmith leveled to 45, got 3 new recipes (+ imbued of all three) and I had a bit of vit-bonus left, the following happened:1st item, fully covered by vita, gave 9% xp2nd item, partly covered, gave 7%3rd item, out of vita-bonus, gave 5%.I'm telling you, the cake is a lie.

I found where the bonus EXP is coming from, too: treasure chests are being instaconverted into the extra EXP!!!

Seems that way, anyhow. Leveled a new illusionist from 1 to 10 this morning and not one chest drop from all the mobs I killed in Timorous Deep.

Asked in channels and others on my server were seeing the same thing.

I have had my combat xp off since level 12 also. I just wanted to do quests so who cares if its bonus xp if you can disable it. I never really understood the bonus xp as there is always bonus xp with vitallity. I am just glad and honestly a bit amazed to hear other people also disable xp or I guess its called level lock. To each his own I think its great to have these options to play the game however you see fit to progress a certain character. Over the years this game has become easier and easier but with the plethora of options you can still keep it as challenging as you want. I have done the grind back when it was actually a grind . I don't ever want to do that again but if someone does more power to em.

This is also true for Vitality, and the XP potions. So if you are level locking to beable to do the maximum number of quests per level, then doing quests won't get you any more XP then it would have otherwise.
