Brigand Runspeed

I've noticed that most players seem to outrun me while chasing me in pvp, while I often have a really tough time catching people.I'm level 15 so i'm kind of a newb, but my gear is decent, (MC) so I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong.I'm keeping up the brigand runspeed buff and sometimes i use a wolf totem (though it doesn't seem to make me run much faster), I usually throw tie on my 3rd or 4th attack (I usually open with skew, then backstab, then tie or walk the plank then tie).Sometimes it seems that tie just doesn't do much when it lands, or that it just gets dispelled quickly.  I try to sprint after/away from opponents but I often run out of power long before they do, or I catch them with so little power that I cant do much to them.Is there a good technique that someone can recommend for staying on top of other players and/or getting away from them?  Any advice from you vets here would be really appreciated.

Once you hit 20 i'd start doing the splitpaw adventure pack.Once you do enough quests in there you can then get a root that will allow you to root players for a short time.People outrun you usually because they are out of combat.. You have 1 in combat run speed (other than racial lines) option and you can clearly see that as a yellow icon on the rouge tree.Also, leveling your tradeskills to 80 and doing a few quests will allow you to get a clicky 45% permanent out of combat run speed buff. I would think this is a MUST for PVP, but eh <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />BTW, stuns and root face are your friends and you don't ALWAYS have to lead with them <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
