View Full Version : Constant Frame sticking ... please help

about 6 months ago i was playing and accedently hit my Power bar on/off switch. When i did that my computer started blue screening every time i turned it on.So i re installed windows xp and all the drivers i needed so it would be back to the original way i bought it. When i re installed EQ2 i have been having some problems ill explain below.BEFORE RE INSTALLATION<ul><li>Never had any lag problems </li></ul><div align="left"><ul><li>could run the game on Balanced + with no issue</li></ul>AFTER RE INSTALLATION<ul><li>Constant "Glitching" its almost like the frame rate is sticking.. like for example the waterfall when you select you character seems to flow and ever sec or so it stops for .o1 secs but continues to flow </li><li>Lag like behavior when im running my character seems laggy but only when im running again like the "Glitching" i said above when i cast a spell it does it 1-2 times within the spell cast. just sticks....</li></ul>WHAT I HAVE DONE TO TRY TO FIX IT<ul><li>Deleted EQ2 and reinstalled 2-3x</li><li>Updated drivers 2-3x</li><li>checked connection issues </li><li>Played many other games and havent had this issue ( FFXI, WOW, Counterstrike )</li><li>Ran every spyware antivirus and cleaning system there is.</li></ul>i just cant get the game to play smooth like it had been before someone please help me out MY SYSTEM <ul><li>Graphics Card Manufacturer    Powered by ATI    Graphics Chipset    Radeon X1300/X1550 Series    Device ID    7183    Vendor    1002        Subsystem ID    0D02    Subsystem Vendor ID    1028        Bus Type    PCI Express    Current Bus Setting    PCI Express x16        BIOS Version    009.012.013.002    BIOS Part Number    113-A92402-100    BIOS Date    2006/06/23        Memory Size    256 MB    Memory Type    DDR2        Core Clock in MHz    594 MHz    Memory Clock in MHz    396 MHz        Primary Display    Yes    </li></ul><ul><li>Intel core 2 CPU</li><li><a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a></li><li>1GB RAM</li></ul></div>
