The command is /cl_screenshot_orbit.

It takes 36 screen shots at 10 degree incremants. 36 x 10 = 360 degrees.

If you do the command from first person point of view, it captures everything from your perspective all around you, as if you spun in a complete circle. If you do it from third person, the screen shots are taken of you from 36 different angles.

You can mesh the images together in photoshop, fireworks, etc and create an animated gif. Not a great way to do it imho as animated gifs tend to be low quality and very fat in size. Remember, an animated gif will be loading up to 36 slides before it plays smooth. yick. not viewer friendly.

If you have access to it, video editting software works much better. Set the frames to about 2 seconds each and line them up one after the next. Export and gtg! You can use the pan bar to scroll the image side to side or just hit play and let it spin on its own. I tried once using IPIX software (www.ipix.com) but it didn't work so well. Anyway, exporting the image as a wmv or even flash movie would be a better way than animated gif. With flash you could even incorporate (if you know how) controls for panning and even zoom.

This is a great tool for showing off the interior of well decorated houses.
