<p>Hey guys - I'm coming up on level 80 and was looking at the upcoming spells. For Bloodletter, all versions have the EXACT same description. There was an app 4, adept 1/3 and Master level of it on broker. There has to be some difference, otherwise the Master 1 wouldn't be selling for 200p more than the App4. Can someone shed some light on what it is or where I can go to find out? Did a query here and wasn't much to go on that I saw. Thanks.</p>

<p>Higher levels of bloodletter provide a more effecient health transfer.  The exact ratios are not exposed that I have found yet, but that is the idea.</p><p>So your allies have to cough up X HP to bring you to full (in theory this is some function of your max hp).  At each level that X will go down by some amount.  Without the actual percentages it is hard to tell whether it is worth the coin, but who knows?</p><p>BTW, does anyone know if the other plate tanks have an answer to bloodletter?  I use it a lot in my regular trio and it has saved our skins several times as we tackle yellow con heroics in instances and such.  A bad string of crits / double attacks isn't nearly as bad with BL in play.</p><p>Also, can anyone confirm if this abil can actually kill your allies directly?  If not, does it just fail to trigger if they can't cough up the X HP?  Since it tends to trigger when things are really going bad, it is often hard to determine exactly what is happening, so I was wondering if anyone had any insight?</p>

I'm pretty sure that master1 is 1:1 health transfer...  Not sure about the other ones, but even if you put adept3 at 1.25:1, which I'm not sure if it's even that big of a difference, it's not going to hurt your allies all that much more.  If you have 10khp, you're looking at everyone in your group taking 2000dmg with master1 or 2500dmg with ad3.  In a raid, you're looking at 435hp vs 544hp.  I just don't see it making much of a difference under most circumstances.  I've seen the master1 down to 30p or less on my server, but haven't bothered to get it yet, because I'm saving for other spells I'd like to have more.I do know for a fact that it won't kill anyone outright, because I have tested that.  It will take them to 1hp if they don't have enough hp to cover their share.
