Walk the plank in pvp - better at rank 2?

On a pvp server, is there any reason to take walk the plank past rank 1 before switching to the str tree for a brigand?Does rank 2 of walk the plank have any advantage other than the slight damage increase and .1 second duration increase?  That .1 second doesn't seem worth a point but maybe im missing something.  Do most people take walk the plank to r2 or higher before going over to str?

The increased duration is key, if you time it right at max duration you can get 2 back attacks in vs just 1. Its not going to make or break your brig but it helps. For some reason I still can sometimes only get 1 off but I think I have decided thats usually due to lag issues

0.1 second duration doesn't mean jack as long as it's 0.8 or higher (forget the durations per rank).
