Recent Casting Speed....lag?

Normally I have no problems solo healing in group instances and healing a monk tank at that. I want to think I do a fairly good job and try to have as little deaths as possible. I know people are entitled to have a bad nights, but it was worse than ever. I rely on my Return to the Pact spell to quickly pick the monk up. Fast cast, quick pick me up. It seemed as if I was having spell lag or something. My heals weren't going off as quick as they usually are. Before the spell is finished casting he is down taking a dirt nap. It's not the tank either, as I am his pocket healer. He is, imo, one of the best tanks I know regardless of his leather exterior. I have noticed this slow casting the past 2 nights healing. Has anyone else noticed a slower cast on their heals or even their damage spells? I was grouped with someone tonight that said a warden in their guild was complaining too, but I haven't heard anything else from any other druids. I know I am not lagging cause everything else is flowing as intended.

I have noticed this also for the past couple days. I was soloing with my lowbie necro, it seemed to take .5 seconds to start the spell casting after clicking on it./shrug

<p>i've had similar issues since the most recent liveupdate</p><p>its seems i press a spellicon and it takes a while before that spell goes off, same with queing spells</p>

This almost killed me a couple of times last night while soloing in Kunzar Jungle.  I noticed the ping was going up quite a bit during big lag moments and it was happening to hubby at the same time when he logged on, I assumed it was either our network or isp but perhaps it's the game servers since others are complaining of lag lately too.
