Launcher ~ 4/12/08

For about a half hour or so now, every time i try to log onto EQ2 I keep getting a Network Error  " The launcher can not connect to the Network at this time, please try again in a few minutes "It is not my connection, that works fine. Ive retried quite a few times now and even restarted my computer, nothing is working. Anyone else having this problem?

<p>My problem may or may not have been related, I'm not sure.  Anyway, around 5PM or so Pacific (times are approximate), I went linkdead, found myself punted back to the character select screen.  I couldn't get back into game on any of my characters.  All of mine are on the same server, Lucan d'Lere.  I assumed at first the server crashed, so I made a level 1 character just to see if it went down.  None of them were shown as down, so at random I picked Crushbone server to see if I could get onto it, I could.  Then deleted the temporary one on Crushbone, went back onto trying my own server, nothing.  I finally after 30 minutes of talking to some people in my raid alliance via our forums (none of the rest went LD, they said they were fine), one suggested I reset my modem and router.  That I did, and after a bit more fiddling came back into game around 5:45 PM Pacific.  Again, times are approximate.</p><p>Not sure if it was coincedence or if I truly did need to reset my router, since at the same time I couldn't get eq2players.com to load, but I could come onto the official forums and log on.  Anyway, it could be some "hiccup" happened with the logon server, or it could be it was on my end and I needed to reset my router.  This is the first time this has happened to me, but I also did switch to a newer router maybe a month ago too.</p><p>As an aside, during this time after the initial "linkdeath" I couldn't use the launcher to go into game.  Only way I could log on was via going into the EQ2 folder and running the application directly.  After I reset my router all was well though.</p><p>Anyway, I actually kind of assume my situation MAY have been unrelated, but since you mentioned you couldn't come on for about a half hour on the 12th, and I couldn't for roughly the same amount of time, figured I'd post what happened to me anyway.</p>
