Game windows have turned black. . .(Fixed) BTW Servers are back up

I was playing last night and I think I pressed the wrong key.  All my UI windows went solid black.  I can still see the writing and symbols, but they take up half my screen.  Any ideas on what I've done?  I've tried rebooting, resetting options to default, deleting my UI ini file, but it stays the same. . .

In options under UI there is a reset default opacity button, use it.

Already done that.  When I slide the bars, the windows still stay black. . .I've even tried resetting all the windows seperately.

Try hitting F10 in game...Once should make all the window go poof.  Hit F10 a second time and they should return to normal...  If I am correct in my theory...

I tried F10 as well.  It makes them all disappear, but they still return solid black.  If I want to re-install, how do I do it without downloading everything again?

Do this first.You may want to back up and delete the cache folder,  eq2_recent.ini, eq2_default.ini, EverQuest2.exe and all files named after the character with which you're having this issue.The character specific files will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.iniTo do this please follow these directions:1. First look for your EverQuest II directory. You can find the directory in the default directory:2. Click on MY COMPUTERC<img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />RIVEPROGRAM FILESSONYEVERQUEST II3. Next look for any files explained above and delete them. 4. Afterwards, please start EverQuest II to have these files re-downloaded by the patcher.

Thanks!  I've just logged in and they're back to normal so it must have been a server-side problem.  i'll keep a not of your post in case I ever need to try that.
