Crazy game freeze?????!!!! HELP

<p>Well this is whats happening in the image below running on 8800 gts 512 with 174.7x drivers It freezes up my comp and then i have to restart it usually gewts much worse but i got to it late with the camera... Does anyone else have this problem jsut happened again screen went crazy then the computer restarted

Could be the video card is overheating, the card is going bad, power supply is underpowered for the card, or bad drivers. I'd suspect the 1st 2 over the last 2 though the 3rd suggestion might be valid if its a new card, or ps.

Well the video card never goes over 53c... I play crysis no problems like this...  Power supply is 700w just bought a whole new system.... Drivers are most likly the problem what are the best drivers to run with EQ2 in on the 174.7x beta ... sometimes i can play for a while but others it messes up like that and i have to reboot

I saw the same or similar problems last night in Gorowyn at the broker.  After two lock-ups I finally gave up for the night.  It all started happening after the last patch.  Before that it was working fine.

Ya No matter what setting i put that game on it eventually ends up freezeing up, then the monitor recieves no signal... again this only has happened with EQ2... In Crysis i can run everything on High with no freezing.  And even when they huge nukes go off i get little lag.

Do you have the latest drivers for that card?

<p>I have tried multiple drivers.... using driver sweeper in safe mode to clear them some are:</p><p>174.7x</p><p>using 169.44 atm</p><p>thinking of trying the suggested ones but havnt had time just the 169.32 or sumthin</p>

Need someone to step up to the challenge and fix these problems... You do not put a bandage over something that needs stitches... They need to acctually recode because I play Crysis all night on High settings and I never crash. EQ2 randomly [Removed for Content] up and the screen goes crazy, so Sony you have some [Removed for Content] work to do. Having this problem un-fixed for the amount of time that is has is unacceptable. If things continure and more people upgrade they will only see more compaints

I am having the same issue. It just started happening a few days ago too. It occurs at random intervals.

<p>Please people help... this is haggard... my old 6600gt never [Removed for Content] up.  I mean it was slow but it was reliable... id rather have a reliable card anyday.  Crysis runs pristinly on my comp:</p><p>core 2 duo e6850 3.0ghz</p><p>8GB Gskill ram</p><p>Evga 780i SLI motherboard</p><p>EVGA 8800 GTS 512</p><p> 700 watt OCZ</p>

We keep seeing these "camera" shots which seem a little flooded..What I want to know is if this corruption occurs when you take a normal screenshot with the print screen buttonNext time this happens, can you do this, and post it? Or lets us know if it does NOT display this issue.Also, what OS?...I have not seen you state that? Have you tried to update Direct X?Thanks
