View Full Version : Playing 2 accounts on one computer.

I have a few questions that I did not seem to find answers to while searching.

I currently play 2 accounts on the same computer, and haev a few cosmetic issues I was wondering if someone could help me with.

1. Is there a way to run 2 completely different installs so the settings for each account stay the same? For example, i want to run the second account with much lower graphics then the main, but each time I log in, both accounts default to whichever one was the last to log out.

2. This is linked to the 1st one, is there a way to keep the log in information linked to each install? I am lazy and would rather not type in each accounts username when I log in. I have made a few mistakes and tried to log in the same account.

3. I run 2 monitors, is there a way to lock each account to thier own monitors?

I appreciate any help or directions you may be able to give.

Thank you.

I currently run the same setup with 2 accounts and I would recommend having 2 separate installs of the game. The easy way to do this is just copy the Sony folder and paste. Preferrably you do this onto a separate hard drive.

This should solve your graphics problem and each account will remain separate.

As far as the log in information (I assume you mean your username self populating) it does not appear to have anything to do with separate accounts. Which ever one you used last is the one that self populates when you begin regardless of which account you launch.

The 2 monitor question I'm a little less sure about. With 2 distinct installs it maintains the screen size whenever I log on but the placement has to be adjusted each time I log on.

Hope this helps.

Yes, it helps a bit. I did the 2nd install already, which I copied and pasted over, but did not try it on a 2nd partition. this may explain why I was having issues. I will give it a go on it's own partition.

Thank you.
