<p>Why have some animations been cut off? Such as 'climbing up a summoned horse' and 'bending the knees after a jump'?</p><p>I can remember... a long time ago there was an animation of climbing up a horse. It has been changed into a weird pop-up-horse-and-rider-already-sitting-on-it.</p><p>Since EoF the player chars don't bend their knees any more after having jumped (standing on ground and simply jump and land). The animation has been cut off inmidst of the air. Characters just land with straight legs. Weird. Second half of the animation is missing. Mentioned many times since November 2006. But SOE does not react to it. No comment why it was done or when they are going to fix it. After having installed EoF it was the first thing that struck me: jumping animation cut off. But therefore your mount could rear up what no other player can see.</p>

If i remember right it was because SOE never got them to work right.  People would get stuck in a frozen animation of climbing onto the horse if htey started moving before the animation was finished and instead of fixing it, they did what they do when things are hard.Same with the jumping landing.SOE has a lot of talent but i notice their one big reason for not doing a lot of things, is "it's to hard".  which is funny since when the game was made it was said it was made to be updated and improved on easily since they had EQ1 experience in how long these games can go on.  This is why all robes and dresses have slits at the legs, they couldn't "figure out" how to stop the legs from clipping through the fabric, so they just altered everything else around it.
