Now that I got Walk the plank I went for the Str line. When I will turn in my quest in a few mins I will earn a new AA and learn Torporous Strike.

I am wondering if it worth to use it a all while PvE soloing melee mobs ?

I don,t understand the full mecaniq of melee atm so I duno if the debuff effect is good but I know for sure its damage is simply too low. Mobs die way b4 I can use all my CA's and this one would do the least damage.

So is the debuff part on this skill make it usefull while soloing ?

The short answer, yes the strike is great for debuffing.

The long answer is that you're getting yet another damaging strike. As you continue to gain levels, it helps to have an increasingly larger list of strikes. At later levels, your enemy will likely survive a full strike assault. From that point, you'll have to rely on your auto attack. But through racial special abilities (every 10 lvls) and AA choices, you can gain additional strikes to augment your class granted list.

I mainly use Torporous Strike at the higher levels because it slows down the activation speed of a target's abilities. When combined with the later Blackguard's Strike, you'll slow down their useage speed and make them wait longer to get their abilities back.

(Should you also get the Coursier ability for the pirate title, then you'll further imbalance the equation. They cast slower while you cast faster. They refresh longer while you refresh faster.)
