I wonder if that's meant to be the pyramid in the Shard of Fear or the one in the Temple of Cazic-Thule. Nice pictures!

My guess is that since its in the temple of CT. And at the top of the temple there are 3 pyramids and the middle has a long stairway, that picture is of those 3 pyramids

I'd like to point out that in EQlive there were only 2 pyramids found in the whole zone, so I don't think those pictures are representing what the area used to be, unless there is more structure to the temple than what has ever been physically revealed to the players in the zones themselves.

If that was the Pyramid in the Plane of Fear, the firewall would be evident in the picture. There's no way it wouldn't be.

That could represent fire that we see in the shard of fear. However i've got a little interesting theory here. If you look at the main temple in CT then the main temple in the Shard of Fear they are identical.

If those are the depicted temples then where is the 3rd one? Perhaps there is another zone under the god of fear's control that we haven't seen yet.

The Cthulluian design is intentional and not shared anywhere else on Norrath.

I believe its the true dipiction of true Cazic Followers.. Its probably A symbol of the sort... Cazic Worshipers seem to build temples as a shrine or in dedication to him... This was seen in Old Cazic Thule in a grand scale.. Also Go back to Shissar, I'm not sure how old they realy are, but they where the same, Buildings in the structures of Temples... Iksars however Kinda strayed from this.. The only representation that i've seen to cazic by the iksar is in Seb, the old temple shrine... Other then that, They kinda went on thier own.. I think Venril sathir/Rile had a hand in this.It could very well symbolize the three factions. But I lean towards the middle building as Cazics Temple itself... found in Plane of Fear.

Could the middle one represent the plain of Fear and the other two Pain and Nightmares?

Maybe the third pyramid represents some Shissarian city/ruins that we'll hear about or find in the future.

I don't recall there being a big pyramid in Chelsith, nor in Chamber of Destiny. If it was anywhere I'd guess maybe nearer Kunzar since there are some pyramid like structures there, but I think that those were Sebilisian in origin.

Yeah but the ancient Shissar city/Ruins you speak of are Chelsith itself.

Besides, the Shissar denied Cazic Thule's existance, and got wiped off the face of Norrath for it, so I doubt they'd have a temple in his honor.

I agree that it's unlikely but every race has their rebels. For all we know, there were some Shissar that worshipped Cazic Thule. Was just throwing the idea out, it doesn't even have to be a Shissarian temple, but it's unlikely that there are only two temples to Cazic Thule. The third pyramid could be something we don't know yet, or a temple that lies in ruins in the Feerrott, or maybe it was even on another planet or moon. Of course we could all be reading too much into this by saying that the three pyramids there are three specific pyramids. In a lot of cultures around the world, three is a sacred number of power (Holy Trinity, Triple Goddess, the Hindu trinity). Norrath even has its own elemental trinity of water. It's possible that the only reason there are three in that picture is to strengthen the power of the image, and that the pyramids aren't meant to be specific ones.

The only reason the Lost temple of Cazic survived was due to the lizardmen taking care of it and the 1 in the plane of fear surviving because of its inhabitants.

Would be freaky if the 3rd temple was actually home to the shadowedmen and they took it over because they wanted the power source.
