Hey!Last time on raid i was lucky to get dirge and illu in group (DPS zerker). I managed to push myself over 300 haste for awhile. Usually at such haste, i just autoattack. However, i am not sure, if having such haste has any use anyway. I can imagine all things have logharitmic curve.I'd really like some explation on:1) haste maxWhat is max haste useful if you wield 1.2 speed weapon? How fast will i swing at that haste? What is max haste useful if you wield 4.0 speed weapon? How fast will i swing at that haste?2) dps mod max3) + CA on itemsI know you cannot get over 50% of CA ability with +CA damage, however how would you calculate optimal +CA? Average of all CA's I have divided by 2? Only average of CA used most frequently? Our CA abilites really vary a lot, so optimal +CA is mystery to me.4) how much dps does 1% to double attack give? How much does this depend to the weapon if at all?5) how much dps does 1% to melee crit attack give? How much does this depend to the weapon if at all?I am sure there is done many experiments already. As I am not most good at searching, Id really be grateful if you could redirct me - by posting link here for any of the points above.Any thoughts will be also read and revised. The experiments are not neccessary to be from zerkers, other melee classes have same laws, too.Thank you in advance, Darfohi the dwarf.

200 haste = 125% haste... which is the cap.diminishing returns start in at 100 points pretty fast.Same issue with DPS 200 DPS = 125% DPS.. diminishing returns start at 100.Double attack and crits max at 100% There is no set forumla on how much this adds because it depends on gear and other buffs... but these 2 are very important.AE auto attack people say caps at 100% but iof you get 200% they say you get AE double attack... not sure if that's true since I have never seen it... but as zerkers with our mythical and anicent teaching and AGI warrior AA line we can get 240%so 300% haste was a waste... swap gear to get crits or double attack higher... even if you drop 4 haste for each 1 crit it's still a winning solution if you are usually over 100 haste due to diminishing returns curve... if frequently over 200... you can trade an infinate amount of haste basically for crit or double attack since anything over 200 is tossed straight in the trash.hope that helps and have fun.

Awsome info! You helped a lot.Still have some questions:As said, 125% haste is cap, which makes my weapons (theoretically):Main hand: Weapon 4.0 speed, at full haste speed of 1.5Off hand: Weapon 1.2 speed, at full haste speed of 0.45 + delay due to offhandDual Wield (DW)Obviously weapons do not have same delay. Are weapons synchronized? Do they attack independently? Moreover, is double attack rolled for each swing of each of weapons?Question of dual attack or melee crit remains. This is a bit theoretical. Lets us assume, dual attack and melee crit increase DPS lineraly. In such case, it would be wise to push one to 100% before the other (i bet they dont add exactly the same to DPS). Which one has advantage? On dirge forums I noticed dual wield mightbe more important as it is checked before checking if you miss or hit, which results that you can still hit if you miss . Maybe this is really important at orange mobs. On the other hand crit really nice if weapon has very high maxDMG/minDMG ratio, as crit always hits more than maxDMG of weapon. So melee crit or dual attack? Depends on weapon, delay of weapon and level of mob? Feel free to give opinion if you dont know. Trading haste for melee crit and dual attack... is a bit difficult, i use no haste items. I just have to be careful not to use Open Wounds and Acceleration Striked at the same time as Dirge's COB (haste increase and extra dmg)I would still like an opinion on +CA; How much +CA do you use? What would be formula to calculate your own optimal +CA;With beer regards,Darfohi the dwarf
