Mastery?

Is there any value in buying mastery skills at levels before 70~80?  For example my character is 38.  If I upgrade to Rage, master level wont it be obsoleted in a few levels? Or do the masteries carry over?Thanks.

You will overgrow most spells before 71 (masters too). I'd still buy masters at lower lvls, if money permits. Taunts amasters get less resisted, buffs masters increase yours and groups dps and CA masters increase thier dmg. Id improve taunts, then buffs and at last, other CAs (combat abilites). Buy what you can... but if AD3 is alot cheaper.. that works great... AD1 will get you yelled at a bit in groups for sucking.. and APP1 will get you flat out booted.M1's in say T5 are better than AD3 in T6 in most cases... so be careful what you upgrade because if you go from M1 to AD3 in the next tier you might be downgrading.Things to focus on are taunts, stances, and buffs (group STR, group regen, group zerk) ... the rest of the stuff is minimal since most of our damage comes from auto attack... better off investing in a nice weap than buying 3 damage M1's IMHO.Also hit L to bring up achievement window.. ALWAYS look at what your master II choices are before buying anything... you might find out that you buy an M1 and 2 lvls later get it as an M2.. be careful on that and you can save some cash.

I bought a couple last night - wow they make a big difference.  I think I know where my plat will be going from now on.Thanks for the advice.
