My girlfriend has a new pc she got last month. she had sound up until today after installing and patching EQ2. I had her reinstall the sound driver, i had her play with the onboard sound setting  in the BIOS. Windows XP recognizes the sound card, it allows her to change volume and all applicable values, but does NOT get any playback. She has tried using both speakers and headphones in both audio ports... and still no sound. She is beyond frustrated and i don't know how to help her. Any input would be much appreciated, thankyou in advance.
