Please does anyone know if I can get my character back - I was out of the room for five minutes doing housework and when I returned he said 'mum where is your assassin?'

Its gone - just not there - he knows how to delete a character as he has made many and now he has gone and done it to mine - not low level one either.

Is it possible to get it back - can SOE help?

Anyone know????

They will do a one time restore, but you need to give them a call for them to do it.

Yeah.....send them a /petition and they will restore it for you if you explain the situation.....they're pretty cool that way.

Have to say it maybe best to get junior a "Small" account to EQ2 so he can play around with it. This way your toons stay safe and your kid can have fun.

So little Mr. McNab knows how to create and delete characters, and yet doesn't realize that's he's deleted a character when he does it? What's the word I'm looking for...

Actually I was wondering that myself... he knows how to create/delete toons, but seems surprised when his mom's toon is gone? of course that's kinda like the time me and my sister broke the front door of the house while our parents were out and tried to make it look like they did it when they got home and opened the door.. ah kids..

Yeah, it's not exactly a one-click process to delete a toon.

Ahh, well...that's why you get the one 'do-over.'

SC

Kids under 12 seem to be just about the only demographic more likely to try to hide their misdeeds, in a situation where they've got themselves in trouble, than MMO players. I shudder to think about kids under 12 who are MMO players

A friend broke a branch off the tree in the back yard, and my brother & I nailed it back on, used wood putty, wood stain and dirt to match the bark, and said not a word, because we'd been told to stop climbing on the tree.

My dad busted a saw blade cutting the limb off about 7 years later. Nails held up pretty good.

1. Select character

2. Hit delete

3. Box comes up asking, "are you sure you want to delete this character, please type the name exactly as it is spelled" or something like that.

4. Type character name

5. Hit OK to delete.

I would punish my child for lying, and then petition SOE.
